1.How do you select your cleaners?

All prospective cleaners are interviewed by our staff manager to ensure their suitability. We require cleaners to provide us with:

 

  • Proof of identity
  • Proof of address 
  • Past work history
  • Two references

 

References are always verified for authenticity to ensure that the cleaners have proven employment records.  We always ensure that our

cleaners are thoroughly vetted before we introduce our cleaners to you.

 

2. How do you ensure experience and honesty?

Please see our response to Question 1.  In addition, at induction briefings these qualities are stressed thoroughly and quality control

procedures are in place to ensure that cleaners operate in a reliable and honest manner.

 

Clean 4 You carries out periodical quality control checks so as to maintain a high quality cleaning services at all times.  We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee – if you’re not happy with your cleaning services we will re-clean at no additional charge.  Equally, we will constantly ask you for your

views and feedback on our operating procedures and cleaning standards so that we can continue to improve in our service

to you.

 

3. How long will it take to find me a cleaner?

Clean 4 You will respond to all queries within 24 hours and will endeavour to meet all your requests as soon as possible.  Sometimes it may take a little longer depending on your location and the time and day you require, etc. but we will aim to supply you with a suitable cleaner within 5 working days of

your initial call.

 

4. Can I specify the day a cleaner comes?

Yes. However, if you need to change your regular cleaning day and you already have a regular cleaner assigned to you, we suggest that you speak to your cleaner first to make sure they are available on that day.  If not we will aim to find you a new cleaner.  Please be aware that Friday is a particularly busy day so changing your regular cleaning day to a Friday may prove difficult.

 

5. Does the same cleaner come every week?

As long as you are happy with the cleaner we send you they will be with you every week.  A replacement cleaner is only used if your regular cleaner is unwell, on holiday or if you become dissatisfied with them.

 

6. What happens if the cleaner fails to turn up?

Whilst every effort is made checking cleaners references for reliability to ensure you get a cleaner that won't let you down, there is always a possibility that this may happen.  Cleaners sometimes get ill like everyone else, or their children get unwell and they have to take them to the doctors - whatever

the problem is they should let you and us know.  Unfortunately, sometimes they forget.  If this should happen, please phone us straight away and we

will try to make alternative arrangements for you.

7. Do you provide transport for the cleaner?

No.  The cleaners use their own transportation to and from your property.

 

8. How is the cleaner paid?

You, the client, pay the cleaner the applicable rate, in cash or by cheque on the day they clean.  If you require a one-off clean then different rates

apply.  Any tips or bonuses are paid directly to the cleaner.

 

9. Are there any restrictions in terms of what the cleaner will clean?

Yes.  They cannot perform any deep or specialised cleaning of any antique, delicate or valuable items.  Equally, for Health and Safety reasons they are unable to clean the outside of windows unless they are on the ground floor.

 

10. Is there insurance cover for any damage caused by the cleaner?

Public liability insurance is in place for accidental damage to your property or injury to the cleaner whilst working in a client’s property.  Please note the insurance is subject to a £250 excess, so it is not for small breakages.  Bleach spills however are not covered and you should discourage your cleaner

from using bleach.

 

11. What happens if I am dissatisfied with the service provided by the cleaner?

In this instance, we will make every effort to find you a replacement cleaner as soon as possible, normally within 5 working days.  Please make sure that you leave your cleaner tasks that can normally be completed within the time you have booked with Clean 4 You.

 

12. Will your company be able to provide a cleaner if I move to a different area?

Yes. As long as you are within the M25 as our cleaning services cover all these areas.

 

13.Can I pay your agency fees by cheque rather than standing order?

Unfortunately, company policy dictates that this is the only method of payment we can accept and any exceptions will cause administrative problems.

 

14.What happens about your agency fees if for any reason I miss a clean?

If this should happen please let Clean 4 You know straight away and we will refund the appropriate amount by return of post.
